3.9 Things to Know About Addition
When we add two numbers, the result is called the sum.
Example
: 3+2 = 5. Here 5 is called the sum.
When we add 0 to a number, the result is the number itself.
Example
: 4 +0 = 4. here when we add 0 to 4, the sum is the number.
When we add two same numbers we get a double
Example
: 8 + 8 = 16
If the numbers are interchanged, there is no change in the sum.
Example
: 3+4 = 4+3 = 7
