Grade 7 - Mathematics 8.13 Problems on Parallelogram - I

Example:
Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio 3:2. Find the angles.

Solution:
The sum of the adjacent angles of a parallelogram is equal to 180°.
If these angles are in the ratio 3:2, then they can be written as
(3/5) * 180° and (2/5) * 180° respectively.
That is 108° and 72° respectively.
\ the angles of a parallelogram are 108°, 72°, 108° and 72°.

Directions: Read the above example carefully and answer the following questions:

Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio 3:5. Find the angles and draw the parallelogram with sides 16 cm and 10 cm.
