Method:

  • Step 1: Read the equations carefully.
  • Step 2: Divide and write the result.

Example:
16 divided by 2
Use multiplication table of 2 and look for 16 which is 8 times 2.
Alternatively, this can also be performed by repeated subtraction.
16-2 = 14
14-2 = 12
12 -2 = 10
10-2 = 8
8-2 = 6
6-2 = 4
4-2 = 2
2-2 = 0
Count the number of computations performed to reach 0.
Answer : 8
