  • In decimal form, irrational numbers do not repeat in a pattern or terminate.
  • They go on forever or infinity.

4 = 2 rational
0.33333333......... rational (since it is a repeating decimal 0.3).
0.34343434.........rational (since it is a repeating decimal 0.34).

Rational and irrational numbers together are real numbers.
