Method:
  1. Read the problem carefully.
  2. Compute the required results.
Example: Jack walked 2.5 miles on Monday, 3.5 miles more on Tuesday. How many miles did he cover on both the days?
He walks 2.5 miles on Monday.
On Tuesday he covers 2.5 + 3.5 = 6 miles
Distance covered in both the days = 2.5 + 6
Answer: 8.5 miles

Directions: Solve the following. Also write at least ten examples of your own.
