8.19 Multiplying Fraction with Whole Number

Method:
  1. Multiply the numberators.
  2. Write the denomintor as it is.
  3. Simplify the fraction.
Example: 1/6 x 24 = 1/6 x 24/1
  1. Multiply 1 and 24, which gives 24.
  2. Write the denominator as it is.
  3. This gives us 24/6.
  4. On dividing 24 by 6, we get 4.
Answer: 4
