3.10 Adding Three Numbers

Method:
  1. Add the first two numbers.
  2. Add the sum to the third number.
Example: 3 + 4 + 5
Consider the first number 3, start counting after 3 for 4 numbers that is 4,5,6,7.
Hence the sum of 3+4 = 7.
Consider the third number 5, add this to the sum of 3 +4
7 +5
Start counting after 7 for 5 numbers that is 8,9,10,11,12.

Answer: 12
