6.6 Clocks - Telling Time to Half-Hours

Method:
  1. Look at the hour hand. If it is at or past a number then write the number.
  2. Look at the minute hand,
    If it point to 6 it is half hour or 30 minutes.
    If it points to 12, it is 0 minutes.
Example:
What is the time shown in the clock?

The hour hand is in between 3 and 4 and the minute hand at 6.
Answer: 3:30
