In the right angled triangle ΔPAB, ∠PAB = θ

csc θ = hypotenuse/opposite = AP/PB

sec θ = hypotenuse/ adjacent = AP/AB

cot θ = adjacent / opposite = AP/PB

Then the ratio
cot θ = 1; sec θ = 2
cot θ = 1/2 sec θ = 2
cot θ = 2 ; sec θ = 1/2

Directions: Answer the following questions. Also write at least 10 examples of your own.
Q 1: Given cot θ = 20/21, determine cos θ, cosec θ.

Q 2: If sec θ = 25/7, find the values of tan θ, cosec θ.

Q 3: If sin A = 1/3, evaluate cos A.cosec A.

Q 4: If cosec θ = 41/40, find the values of sin θ, sec θ.

Q 5: If 7 sin A = 24 cos A, find cot A.

Q 6: If cos θ = 3/5, find the value of sin θ, cosec θ

Q 7: If tan θ = 4/3, find the value of 1- sin θ/1+sin θ

Q 8: If cos θ = 2 sin θ, find the value of tan θ.
