Sequencing is a process of arranging a set of items in an orderly way.

Example: (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) is a set of even numbers from 1-10.

The members of a sequence are called the terms or elements and the number of elements or terms in a sequence is called the length of the sequence.

Sequences can be finite or infinite.

Examples:
(1, 3, 5, .....) is a set of all odd numbers and it is an infinite sequence.
(1, 3, 5, 7, 9) is an example for a finite sequence.
