4.56 Radius of The Cylinder

Example:
A cuboid metal of dimensions 22 cm. * 8 cm. * 7 cm. was melted and cast into a cylinder of height 8 cm. what is its radius?
Solution:
Given that,
Volume of cuboid = 28 * 8 * 7 cu. cm.
Volume of cylinder (pi * r2 * h) = 22 * 8 * 7 cu. cm.
Therefore, 22/7 * r2 * 8 = 22 * 8 * 7
r2 = 7 * 7
r = 7 cm.
