Add the given Radicals 3 5 + 4 5.
Solution:
Since the radicals are the same, simply add the numbers in front of the radicals.
Note: Do not add the numbers under the radicals.
The given two radicals are like radicals so it is easy to add them.
3 5 + 4 5 take 5 as common,
(3 + 4)5.
Therefore, 7 5.

Note:
Correct: 3 5 + 4 5 = 7 5
Incorrect: + = 65

Correct: + = 51/3 + 51/3 = 52/3

3 5 = 5 + 5 + 5 and = 51/3
