Example:
Solve x + 3y = 11 and 3x + 4y = 18.

Solution:
Given that, x + 3y = 11 and 3x + 4y = 18.
Write the given equation in y-intercept form.
That is, x + 3y = 11
3y = -x + 11y
y = -x/3 + 11/3.
3x + 4y = 18
4y = -3x + 18y
y= (-3/4)x + 18/4.

Ordered pairs for the graph y = -x/3 + 11/3

Ordered pairs for y = (-3/4)x + 18/4.
