Grade 8 - Mathematics 4.18 Cartesian Product of Two Sets - II

Example:
If A = {a,b,c} and B = {d,e} write the Cartesian product of A X B.

Solution:
Given that A = {a,b,c} and B = {d,e}.
The ordered pairs are (a,d), (a,e), (b,d), (b,e), (c,d) and (c,e)
The set of ordered pairs can be written as {(a,d), (a,e), (b,d), (b,e), (c,d), (c,e)}

Directions: Solve the following problems. Also write at least five examples of your own.
