Grade 8 - Mathematics 3.26 Area of Quadrilateral - 2
Example:
In a quadrilateral, the diagonals intersect at right and have lengths equal to 9 cm and 10 cm. respectively. Find the area of the quadrilateral. Solution: Area of quadrilateral = 1/2 * d_{1}d_{2}
Given that,
d_{1} = 9cm. and d_{2} = 10 cm.
Area = 1/2 * 9 * 10
A = 9 * 5
A = 45 Sq. cm. Directions: Solve the following problems. Also write at least ten examples of your own.
