Union of Sets:
The set which contains all the elements which belongs to either A or B both is called the union of of A and B and is denoted by A È B.
\ A È B = {x/x Î A or x Î B}.

Example:
Find A È B, if A = {1,2,3} and B = {2,3,6,8}.

Solution: Steps:
1. Write all the elements in A and write all the elements in B
A È B = {1,2,3} È {2,3,6,8}
2. Write all of them in a set.
A È B = {1,2,3,2,3,6,8}
3. Remove the common elements and write the remaining elements. \ A È B = {1,2,3,6,8}.
