### Grade 7 - Mathematics9.19 Perimeter of the Triangle

Example: The sides of the triangle ABC are 12 cm, 5 cm and 9 cm. Find its perimeter. Example: Perimeter of the triangle (P) = S1 + S2 + S3 Where P is the perimeter of the triangle, S1, S2 and S3 are the sides of the triangle. Given that, S1 = 12 cm, S2 = 5 cm and S3 = 9 cm. Hence P = 12 + 5 + 9 i.e P = 26 cm. Therefore, the perimeter of the given triangle is 26 cm. Directions: Read the above example carefully and answer the following questions. Also draw 10 different triangles, measure their angles and find their perimeters.
